Advertising, Partners & Affiliate Disclosure

Why we publish this page

You deserve to know how our marketing works. Horseplay is operated by Game Play Network, and some of the traffic that reaches us arrives through third-party websites, content creators and advertising networks. When those partners send a player our way, we may pay them. That arrangement is ordinary in this industry — but it should never be hidden, so here it is in plain language.

This page explains who we work with, what those partners earn, and the firm limits we place on how our brand is promoted. Read it alongside our terms if you want the full picture.

Keeping play in check

Advertising is meant to be fun, never a push. If the entertainment stops feeling like entertainment, step back. Players in Ontario can reach ConnexOntario any time of day on 1-866-531-2600, and help across Canada is listed at responsiblegambling.org. Our own tools live on the responsible gambling page.

Our advertising standards

We expect our partners to represent us honestly, and we hold our own campaigns to the same rule. A few things we insist on:

StandardWhat it means in practice
19+ onlyNo creative may target or appeal to anyone under 19. Gambling is for adults.
No misleading claimsNo "guaranteed wins", no hidden conditions, no inflated numbers.
Clear termsBonus wagering and expiry — such as 10x on the welcome match, valid 30 days — must be stated or linked, not buried.
Responsible toneNo suggestion that play solves money problems or is a path to income.

If you ever see one of our partners breaking these rules, tell us through our support channels and we will act.

Promotions never change your odds or your price

This is the promise we will not bend. The return-to-player percentage on a game is fixed by the studio that built it — Caleta, Kalamba, Oddsworks, Spinomenal and Game Play Network's own titles. No banner, bonus code or partner link alters it.

The same holds for money. Our minimum deposit is 10 USD whether you arrive through an affiliate or type our address directly. A 100% match up to $250 on your first credit purchase, a Friday reload or a weekend tournament — the headline terms are identical for everyone. Marketing decides who hears about an offer, not what the offer is worth.

What an affiliate relationship actually is

An affiliate is an independent publisher — a review site, a blog, a social account — that links to Horseplay. If you click one of their links and later register, that partner may receive a commission or a share of revenue. Some links are tagged so we can tell where a visitor came from.

Here is the part that matters most to you: the commission is paid by us, out of our marketing budget. It never comes out of your balance. An affiliate does not set your deposit terms, your bonus wagering, or anything else about your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I pay more for using an affiliate link?

No. Commissions are funded from our marketing budget. Your deposit terms, the 10 USD minimum and every bonus stay exactly the same.

Can a partner offer me better odds?

They cannot. Game return-to-play rates are set by the studios behind each title and are the same for all players, however you arrive.

Are affiliate reviews of Horseplay independent?

Independent publishers write their own content, but they may earn a commission if you sign up. Treat any review as marketing and check our terms yourself.

How do I report a misleading ad?

Contact our support team with the details — where you saw it and what it claimed. We review every report and can end partnerships that break our standards.
